Varial Kickflips are acheived by combining the Pop Shove-it and Kickflip together as one spin/flip trick.
So I’ve been tweaking this for about a week now and I’ve noticed the front foot is sometimes easiest toe tapping down for a second vs the actual kickflip slide method. The slide is sometimes the culprit of my over flipping tendencies and the push down seems to cut back on that dramatically. This is also my theory as to why some people get the varial first (myself included), because someone who’s just starting out and isn’t as comfortable with flip tricks won’t naturally slide with the kickflip immediately. Btw love the site, keep up the good work guys!
Greatest skate teacher ever! Thank you Aaron.
