“I enjoyed the videos because they depicted the chronology of skills to learn, in my case, relearn. Skateboarding has developed so much that knowing what to focus on after 30 years of not skating is overwhelming. This dilemma has been addressed by what you and your team have produced. Thank you.”

The Story Behind Skateboarding Made Simple
My name is Aaron Kyro and I have been skateboarding for over 30 years. I have been sponsored by some of the world's largest skateboard brands including Volcom, Real, Thunder, Bones, Swiss Bearings, and Circa shoes! Rather than telling you that I know how to skate and can teach you, I figured it would be better if I just showed you one of my personal skateboard video parts. So here you go…
What exactly is Skateboarding Made Simple?
I have been teaching people how to skateboard for many years and have found the key things in common amongst new skaters. I have figured out what skaters run into that prevents them from being able to land kickflips, heelflips, or any other tricks they may have trouble with.
New skaters running into this problem often get frustrated and give up. It is true that skateboarding does require practice and work. You don’t just wake up one morning with the ability to land 360 flips every time. It is also true that there is an exact, correct gradient to learning all of the tricks. There are exact ways to do each and every trick there is. I have isolated the exact motions necessary to doing each trick and broken them down into practice steps. Doing these practice steps separately drills in the muscle memory so that you can then put all the steps together and learn the full trick. This is a completely new method of learning it is not just a trick tip video.
If you are really into skateboarding and you REALLY WANT TO PROGRESS FAST, this video is for you! Once you get the learning technique down, you will use it for the rest of your skateboard career, I guarantee it!

Two things, really:
1) This is a full lesson plan that has all of the tricks together in one sequence one after the next.
2) This video was created with the purpose of taking your through all of the basics in the best possible sequence so that you can master the fundamentals of skateboarding. Using those fundamentals and building a solid base you can then go from there and master the more hard tricks because you are building a solid base to learn from.
I recommend you skate for at least 20 minutes every day. This consistency will really really build up your skills. Start off with the easiest trick on the list and then work your way up the trick list every day until you can do them all. 20 minutes a day will get you a lot farther then 3 hours 1 day a week. The amount of repetition you do on the practice steps will determine how fast you build the muscle memory and learn the tricks.

Have fun learning
It's brilliant. Simple, fun and really inspiring. I'm a 53 yr old first-time skateboarder who needs all the help I can get. I can ski, rockclimb and ride a motorbike and someday I will be able to Ollie. Maybe.
Sorry to hear about the Braillle House - I hope you can keep the dream alive.
Just got back into skating this has helped me get back to where I was before i stopped. Still can’t kickflip or heelflip but I’ve made progress landed my first variel flip.
I went from never skateboarding to doing all the tricks in this course minus the kick flip. That's what I'll accomplish and land tmrw.
My 10 year old recently took up skateboarding, and I have never skated. Her only teacher was this video, and she is up and skating and loving it!
Great
