Excellent quality skateboard at a very fair price for a complete! Love the Dark Blue/Purple color! Came with Braille bearings and Independent trucks! It arrived in just a few days and the only thing missing was a Braille Skateboard sticker. -Thank you Braille Team!

    • Erika Totanes

We’re so happy you love your new complete.
Thank you for your support in Braille Skateboarding!

  6. cblythe23 (verified owner)

I ordered this complete (size 8 deck) with all the standard hardware and trucks (braille barring’s, braille trucks). The barring’s seem a little slow, though I might need to break them in a bit. However, I am experiencing serious wheel bite on turns.

    • Erika Totanes

      Hi Chris,

We recommend tightening those trucks to your comfort. If that’s not working out, please email us at shop@brailleskateboarding.com so we can help figure this out for you!

  7. cblythe23 (verified owner)

    Erika Totanes,

Thanks for the advice, I tightened the trucks and made my turns wider. This stopped the wheel bite. Also my bearings are starting to break in now. This is a decent board for beginners and I will continue testing it daily.

    Sincerely,
    Chris

    • Erika Totanes

      Hi Chris,

I’m glad! Thanks for your feedback. Have fun, and good luck out there!

  8. Hudson Hebert

Hi Braille love everything about ya’ll. I was wondering what kind of grip tape is used on the boards. Again love all of you so much!!!

    • Erika Totanes

      Hi Hudson,

We’re currently using Diamond grip tape on our completes! However, we usually equip our boards with MOB griptape, but are currently out of stock.

      Thanks for your support!!

  9. Owen

hi don’t know where else to post this but is there an option to buy it in pound sterling?
btw keep up the great work.

    • Erika Totanes

      Hi Owen,

Our prices reflect in USD, but will be converted with your purchase. If you need help figuring out the cost in £, please email us at shop@brailleskateboarding.com!

  10. Alex

What trucks does it come with and what kind of bushings.

    • Erika Totanes

      Hi Alex,

Our competes come with Braille trucks and bushings!

  11. Skateboard123

Hi, dont really now where else to ask questions, I was wonderingc if this can work as a cruiser board ?? Also, when purchasing this board will i need to be purchasing anything else ?

    • Erika Totanes

      Hi there,

Yes! I personally use this deck as a cruiser board (but in brown), and it works great. You may just need to purchase softer wheels as it comes with hard wheels which will be uncomfortable to ride street.

  12. Conner Johnson

Hey I just ordered mine today and I’m super pumped to ride as our parks in Alaska clear up.
Since I ordered it today do you know how long it might roughly take to get shipped up here? Thanks for the great service!!

    • Erika Totanes

      Hi Conner,

Thanka for your support! 2-5 business days for shipping.

  13. Daniel

What trucks does this come with?

  14. Zoe

Hi just had a question about how well this board would work for tricks, specifically street tricks or for skate parks maybe? I’m currently using a penny board and I’m a total beginner. But I am very excited to start learning with a different board. If this board isn’t good for this type of skating, what board of y’alls would you recommend? And what type of wheel hardness is best for this? And thank you to the braille team for your awesome videos. They’ve already taught me so much and I’m improving each day. Thank you guys💜

    • Erika Totanes

      Hi Zoe,

This board will be perfect for you. If you’re looking to do flatground/park tricks, I’d consider hard wheels like 99a. I hope this helped! We’re so glad you’re feeling the progression. Keep up the great work.

For more information, email us at shop@brailleskateboarding.com

  15. myah

what durometer are the wheels. Im a beginner from wisconsin and we have rough roads everywhere and few skateparks. I love the feel of a skateboard but can not find a complete with softer wheels that would suit the needs for rough roads. What would be my best route? If i have to buy the parts separate what size trucks would be good for a 7.75 board. And can normal abec 7 red bearings fit a 56mm 75a wheel/ fit the trucks also?

    • Erika Totanes

      Hi Myah,

Our blank wheels are 101a. Might not be what you need for what you’re trying to do. Maybe 83a would be best of both worlds — cruising and doing tricks. For a 7.75 board, 129mm trucks should work just fine. Yes, those bearings will work just fine!

  16. skateboard

    hi!
so i am planning to buy this board and i am a beginner. are the wheels good with smooth streets and does it come with grip tape? also when will it be back in stock for a size 8.0. thank you.

    • Erika Totanes

      Hi there,

The wheels may feel a little shaky on street since the hardness is 101a. You may want to consider trying something a little softer such as 99a.

Our completes will come equipped with griptape, however our decks do not.

We hope to get some more in stock soon! You can follow us on Instagram (@brailleskate) or join our list to be notified of any restock updates.

  17. Abbie

Hi, i have been a fan for 3 years
what size broad would you recommend for a beginner?
    Thank you

    • Erika Totanes

      Hi Abbie,

It really depends. Let’s figure this out together. Please email us at shop@brailleskateboarding.com for more assistance.

  18. Alter Michael

If I will order a width 8 cm board, the wheels will not climb out of the board?

    • Erika Totanes

      Hi Alter,

I’m not sure what you’re asking. We will make sure to put the proper size wheels for your 8in wide board. For more assistance, please email us at shop@brailleskateboarding.com.

  19. Lauren

Hey I haven’t bought this board yet but am planning to. Do you have an estimate for when it will be back in stock in 8 inches? I signed up for the email thing will I be emailed when it’s back in stock or do I just have to check?

    • Chloe Holmes

We should get more within the next week or two. We will send out an email when they are back in stock.

  20. bruhmoment

What are the specifications of the bearings and trucks?

    • Chloe Holmes

It varies depending on what we’ve got in stock. Due to the pandemic, we’ve had to get many variables. Right now we’ve got Bones, Braille and Mini Logo bearings all with different specs. As far as trucks, this also varies. Right now we have unbranded, Silver, Independent and Krux – but not in all sizes. I would suggest adding a note upon checkout requesting your preferences and we will do our best to honor it.

  21. Faisal Alasgah

hi is this a good starter skateboard?

    • Chloe Holmes

      Yes it is!

  22. sophiacast6

When do you think y’all will be back in stock for the 8 in board?

    • Chloe Holmes

We are expecting an order to arrive by Friday

  23. Gabriel

Plan on buying this board in a 8.125 I currently skate a 8 but want to upgrade his big of a change is a 8.125 compared to the 8? Is it drastic? I can kick flip,fs 180, pop shuv it, etc on a 8 will these be harder with the 8.125? Thanks so much! Awesome skateboard!

    • Erika Totanes

      Hey Gabriel,

No too drastic. You might like it, but if the 8 is your preference, I’d say stick to it. 🙂 Experiment a little, give it shot. It’s the only way to know if you truly like it or not.

  24. Gabriel

Thanks so much! May I ask when you guys will have this board in a 8 or 8.125 Back in stock?

    • Erika Totanes

      Hi Gabriel,

Hopefully soon! You can sign up to be alerted when we’ve restocked, or you can follow us on Instagram (@brailleshop) for any restock updates.

  25. scarlett

hi i was wondering what would be better for me im a beginner and i wanna learn some tricks so witch size would you prefer for me a 7 or a 8?

    • Erika Totanes

      Hi Scarlett,

It really depends as the board size needs to match you. Email us at shop@brailleskateboarding.com for further assistance.

  26. Carter

Hey Braille! I’m just wondering, do all your complete boards have the same hardware?

    • Erika Totanes

      Hey Carter,

      While supplies last. 🙂

  27. Abdullah

Im thinking of buying the dark blue complete skateboard but i have a few questions!
    1) The streets, roads and paths in my area are quite rough so do you think that would be a problem for the wheels or the skateboard? 🛹
    2) Does the grip tape come assembled onto the board when it arrives or do i have to put it on?
    3) I know that you can’t be sure an i completely understand but how look does shipping take? (Specifically to Oman)

Anyways thank you so much for yalls videos you guys have really inspired me to skate!! <3

  28. Mylei Province

Hi I was wondering if a 7.75 would be not wide enough for a beginner skater or would you recommend a 8.0 size, also when a 8.0 would be back in stock thank you.

    • Erika Totanes

      Hi Mylei,

      A 7.75 or 8.0 is a great size to start with. 🙂

We hope to be getting more size 8.0 back in stock soon. We’re definitely working on it.

  29. Samir

I ordered this skateboard 1 month ago and it said to wait for the 8.0 trucks and i decided to wait and it still hasn’t came. I was just wondering when your gonna have those in stock

  30. Hayden Morrison

Hey, can any one tell me if it is more blue or or purple .

    • Melissa Pope

      Hi Hayden,
I’d say it’s more on the purple size but you can request it either way in the notes when you order it and we’ll do our best to match your request based on what we have available. Hope that helps 🙂
