Customer Reviews:
“Nelson was fantastic. He’s a credit to your organization.“
“My 13 year old has been taking regular lessons at Braille over the last several months.Β Always comes away feeling more confident in his skills and often learns a new trick.Β Instructors have great flexibility to teach what the student wants to learn.Β Instructors are always very enthusiastic, encouraging and supportive as well as being open to feedback.”
“My experience with Braille’s private lessons was beyond awesome! The Braille guys know how to make learning skateboarding fun.Β I took lessons with both Mario (for the mini ramp) and Carlos (for street/park). Both guys are very approachable, friendly, down to earth, and patient when teaching. Whatever tricks you want to learn, they will break down the basic mechanics of how to execute each trick perfectly. You will learn things like foot position, body posture, balance, arm positions, and timing of movements. Once you get the mechanics down, they let you get out there and try the tricks you want to learn for the remaining time you have. They’ll guide you, observe carefully, cheer you on, and provide true one-on-one support. Before I took lessons, I was only able to cruise, drop-in, ollie, and carve in a bowl. After 15 one-hour lessons with Mario and Carlos, I was able to Rock to Fakie, Axle Stall, Tail Stall, Half Cab Rock, Rock and Roll, Shove It, FS Kickturn, FS 50-50, FS 180 off a ledge, Nose Stall, and Boardslide. I never thought I was able to progress and learn so much, big thanks to Mario, Carlos, and Braille in general!
If any of you want to learn skateboarding with solid instruction in a friendly and open-arm environment, Braille Skateboarding is where it’s at! Can’t wait to progress more!”

How does the virtual lessons work? You show us how to do it in our home and then we go outside and try it. Or someone brings out the device with the meeting on it and we try to do the trick while youβre teaching us?

I was wondering if there was a certain set of instructors for these lessons? Who are the teachers?

Currently the instructor is Robby Hargreaves. There should be a bio for him on the lesson page you can check out. He is awesome!
