The Spitfire 53mm Formula 4 Lock-In 99a Wheels are an asymmetrically shaped wheel designed for more control. A conical cut on one side with a straight edge cut on the opposite built for precise lock in grinds.

Spirtfire’s Formula 4 Urethane: Higher rebound for faster speeds over rough and smooth surfaces with a hard durometer for a smoother, faster ride that won't mush out over time. More speed and control on all surfaces; Unmatched flatspot resistance!

Spitfire Formula 4 Lock-ins

These arent much different from the regular formula 4s and im not 100% sure what its supposed to lock in to (that might just be me not having experience with wheels). Overall a decent wheel. Shoutout to braille for having them so cheap too.

Thanks for you purchase! The part that is supposed to lock in, is the inside part of the wheel. Notice how that side of the wheel is flat and not rounded off? The flat side locks up against the side of whatever you are grinding and keeps you from slipping off. It works particularly well on round rails and coping, but it also helps when grinding benches and fun boxes. The outside of the wheels is rounded off just like any classic cut wheel, which helps you get into nose slides and tail slides. Please let me know if you still have any questions!
